1. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens or legal residents currently residing in Nigeria.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration.
Only individual entries are allowed. Collaborative or group entries are not accepted.
Applicants must be available and willing to live in the TAT residence for the entire duration of the competition.
Artists must not have any criminal convictions or ongoing legal disputes that may affect their participation.

2. Registration Process

All applications must be submitted through the official The Art Titan website.
Applicants must provide accurate personal information, a short biography, portfolio samples, and a recent passport photograph.
A non-refundable registration fee must be paid to complete the application.
Submission of false information or forged documents will lead to automatic disqualification.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next phase.

3. Residency in the TAT House

All selected artists must reside in the TAT House for the full duration of the competition.
Participants must agree to abide by all house rules, codes of conduct, schedules, and task guidelines.
Unauthorized exit or refusal to participate in scheduled tasks may lead to immediate disqualification.
Participants must consent to being filmed and broadcast as part of the competition.

4. Artworks and Creative Tasks

All artworks created during the competition period using materials, themes, or instructions provided by TAT are considered commissioned works for the show.
Participants may be required to collaborate, complete time-bound tasks, or interpret specific themes based on TAT instructions.
All artwork created during the show must be original, free of plagiarism, and must not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.

5. Ownership and Usage Rights of Artworks

All applications must be submitted through the official The Art Titan website.
All artworks created using TAT-provided materials and instructions become the joint intellectual property of the Artist and The Art Titan.
The artist retains the moral rights to be identified as the creator of the work and may include the work in their portfolio post-show, provided appropriate credit to TAT is given.
Participants may not reproduce or sell artworks created during the show without written permission from TAT.

6. Code of Conduct

All participants must maintain a high standard of behavior and professionalism throughout the competition.
Any form of violence, harassment, discrimination, or misconduct will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification.
Participants must respect the privacy, culture, and space of fellow contestants and staff.

7. Publicity and Media

All applications must be submitted through the official The Art Titan website.
Participants agree to participate in media interviews, photoshoots, and promotional activities before, during, and after the competition.
No participant may grant third-party interviews or release unauthorized information about the show without prior written consent from TAT.

8. Disqualification and Withdrawal

TAT reserves the right to disqualify any participant at any point for breach of these terms and conditions.
Participants who voluntarily withdraw from the show may forfeit any rights to recognition, prizes, or artworks created during the show.

9. Amendments

TAT reserves the right to amend these rules and terms at any time without prior notice. Participants will be informed of significant changes during the course of the competition.

10. Legal and Liability

Participation is at the artist’s own risk. TAT will not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during the course of the competition, unless caused by gross negligence.
Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
